Staff dealing with the pandemic at all levels may be in need of support. In the earlier stages this is primarily healthcare and other emergency service workers. Other key workers for example in transport, local authorities or food retail may also be in need. Psychologists too may require support, both professionally and personally to carry out their roles, and also more structurally in terms of how psychologists are deployed as a profession and the expectations upon them.
