EuroPsy (or European Certificate in Psychology) is a European standard of education, professional training and competence in psychology set by the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA).

On Tuesday 30th October 2018, dr. Rosaleen McElvaney, Chair of the EuroPsy European Awarding Committee joined EFPSA country representatives at their meeting in Kowary, Poland where she gave a presentation on the EuroPsy and the impact of the EuroPsy for the profession of psychology in Europe.
She highlighted the importance of students engaging with the EuroPsy during their training, making themselves aware of the EuroPsy requirements, particularly if they are interested in studying, training and working in countries other than their home country.

Dr. Rosaleen McElvaney, Chair of the EuroPsy European Awarding Committee joined delegates of the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) from the US and Canada at their biannual meeting in Salt Lake City in October 2018.
Rosaleen gave presentations on the history of the competency movement in Europe and on mobility agreements in Europe. She provided an overview of the EuroPsy certificate, how it is implemented across 24 countries in Europe and the impact EuroPsy has had on education curricula, legislation and the development of the profession of psychology in Europe.
