European Semester of Psychology in Lithuania

The Lithuanian Psychological Association (LPA) is the biggest psychologists association in Lithuania, consisting of more than 800 individual members, including psychologists working in state institutions, in private practice or academic field.
There are members from different psychology fields, such as clinical, health, educational, organizational, forensic psychology, etc.
LPA is an organization which actively promotes and coordinates the development of professional psychological care in Lithuania, promotes the development of a system of professional development of psychologists, seeks to contribute to the formation of the concept of professional psychology in society.

EFPA Presidents Council meeting in Vilnius

Vilnius, November 17-18, 2022 

The Lithuanian Psychological Association had the honour to organize the EFPA Presidents meeting for the first time in Lithuania.
During the meetings we discussed about the achievements, difficulties, ongoing changes of the European psychological associations, the countries shared good experiences.
We would like to thank once again all the delegates who physically came to Lithuania and for those who joined us online. Till next time!

Lithuanian Psychology Association (LPA) is member of these international organizations:

  • European Federation of Psychologists‘ Associations (EFPA) since 1997.
  • International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS) since 2000.
  • International Test Commission (ITC) since 2002.
  • Network of European Psychologists in the Educational System (N.E.P.E.S.) since 2009.
  • European Academic Network: European Psychology Learning and Teaching (EUROPLAT) associate member since 2010.
  • European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS) since 2011.
  • European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) since 2011.
     

Vision 

To reach European standards of psychology research and practices in Lithuania. To motivate specialists to collaborate with international organizations and to help find solution to the worldwide problems.

 

We are happy to announce that for now, we have had four meetings and conferences:

 

  • EFPA Executive Council Meeting  (15-17/11/22)
  • EFPA Presidents Council Meeting (17-18/11/22)
  • International conference of War and Trauma (17/11/22)
  • Collaboration conference Technologies in the provision of psychological assistance (22/11/22)
