First NIP-Up drink in 2019

The first NIP-Up drink in 2019 with a snack and drink is the start of a new tradition: a low-threshold and informal moment for NIP members to meet each other, to get to know the NIP better, to exchange professional experiences, and more!   As usually, the drink will be associated with a topic related to the time of the year. It will be kept airy with room for personal input, and short to leave enough time for networking with psychologists colleagues.

The world is constantly changing, like the people in it. Now we face new challenges. Increased production requirements, lack of new employees, more complicated cases, new ethical issues and new evidence-based methods to take into account. How do we deal with the relationship between adaptation and compliance? The connection between ethics, evidence and practice has probably never been more important.

Evidence and ethics in practice

At the Psychology Conference in 2019 evidence and ethics in practice has been chosen as an overall theme. A theme that not only forms the basis for Sweden's largest meeting place for students studying, researching and practicing psychology, but also as a prerequisite for the entire profession.

Psychology Prize 2019

The psychologist prize is instituted by the Norwegian Psychological Association's central government and is awarded to psychologists / organizations who show in particular how practical use of psychological knowledge can benefit people.

The prize is awarded to a single psychologist or to a workgroup / organization where psychologist(s) has had a prominent role. The effort should be out of the ordinary and worth emphasizing as an example of good psychology work.

The prize should be awarded both for daily work and for work done over time.

Nominate your candidate. Everyone can nominate.
