This year EACLIPT partnered up with the Centre for Urban Mental Health in Amsterdam to host a two-day conference on the important issue of Urban Mental Health in a globalized and increasingly urbanized world.
We will welcome guests from all over Europe to discuss recent research, new initiatives on how to tackle current and upcoming issues in Clinical Psychology, and also provide a space for early career practicioners and academics to explore how to get into the depths of Urban Mental Health research.

The conference theme will be "The Age of Psychology: Teaching Psychology in the Modern World". This event will be significant for several reasons: Helsinki is the location where EFPTA was established, prompted by Joe Cocker of the Association for the Teaching of Psychology (UK), who brought together psychology teachers from three countries. And that initial meeting took place in 2004, so the next year’s conference will mark our 20th anniversary. We hope that as many psychology teachers as possible will take part. Provisional programme is available on EFPTA website:
The theme for the 2024 conference is “Contributions of OHP to social justice”. The programme will include oral and poster presentations as well as a number of invited and special symposia in line with the multidisciplinary conference theme. These include sessions that will focus on Spanish and Latin American research delivered in Spanish and a session providing an international OHP perspective from the International Coordinating Group for Occupational Health Psychology (ICG-OHP).
This will be our second conference to be held in a hybrid format, allowing delegates to attend the conference and present their accepted papers either in person or remotely. However, we encourage you to attend in person and benefit from the great experience our conference provides.
Call for Papers The call for papers will be open until 01 December, 2023
Performing under pressure is a common challenge for individuals in various domains, including sports, performing arts, business, and high-stakes professions (police, military, medicine etc.). Pressure situations can elicit stress, anxiety, and a range of emotions that can impact performance. However, with the right strategies and mindset, individuals and teams can learn to thrive and excel under pressure. We love to enhance our client’s abilities to perform at their best in challenging situations.
We will have participants and presenters from sports, military, police, performing arts, medicine and business settings. At our congress we connect the most influential people from these areas

The Conference is organised by the Theological School of the Church of Cyprus in collaboration with EARA. The academic program will focus on a broad array of topics of adolescent development and will cover the latest developments in the field. The organising committee is also preparing fascinating social events taking place in the beautiful seaside city of Limassol. Cypriot hospitality will accompany you from the moment you step your feet in Cyprus until the end of your journey. We warmly invite all scholars interested in adolescence at any level of their career to join us at the EARA 2024 conference and to submit an abstract.
Important Dates
The conference theme “Brains & Planes: ScienceInforming Practice, Practice Informing Science” draws on the obvious but important link between human factors, psychology and aviation and on the importance of strengthening bonds between academia and practice. However, it also draws on the ongoing technological revolution, specifically the profound impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various facets of our work, lives and more specifically the aviation sector.
