EIE2023 is a conference that focuses on the implementation and uptake of evidence in routine human service settings (health and social services and education). As part of the conference, we aim to present and discuss these aspects from both a science and a practice perspective.
The 21st World Congress of Psychophysiology—which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, June 26-30, 2023—has extended the abstract submission deadline. Abstracts for symposia, single paper talks, and posters can be submitted until the 10th January 2023 via the congress homepage.
We are looking forward to cordially welcome you in Geneva for IOP2023!
Jointly organized by University Paris Cité Biomedical Department and in collaboration with the Interactive Media Institute, this conference is an international networking and sharing platform for researchers, clinicians, policymakers and funding agents to share and discuss advancements in the growing disciplines of CyberPsychology, CyberTherapy, and Social Networking.
The theme of this conference is Global Minds and Hearts: Pathways Towards a Sustainable Future.
The theme is apropos in several ways. Globalization has taken a serious hit over the last several years as nations pull inward, backslide from democracy, erect trade barriers, revert to mid-20th century power politics and warfare, and erode the centuries-long Enlightenment project of reshaping the world to enrich the human condition. Sustainability, an idea whose time had better come soon–or else–is increasingly pertinent as a multitude of human-made and natural disasters raise the specter of a diminished planet. If you believe psychology matters (I do), then the path to the kind of sustainable future that we wish for ourselves and our grandchildren runs through minds and hearts. As psychologists, our work is clearly cut out for us.
The congress theme is “From Local to Global: Behavior, Climate and Health” and was inspired by the very location where the Congress is being held. The organizers are planning an exciting four days of keynotes, master lectures, workshops, and symposia around the congress theme Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming months.

ISTSS 39th Annual Meeting Scalable Strategies to Address the Impact of Trauma Worldwide: Innovations and Implementation
We are planning for an in-person meeting in Los Angeles, with no virtual or hybrid options.
The ISTSS 39th Annual Meeting will focus on innovative strategies can be used (and scaled up) to address the impact of traumatic stress on mental and physical health. In pursuit of this goal, we seek presentations examining scalable strategies and technological innovations for studying and treating PTSD. Furthermore, we seek presentations that cut across traditional diagnostic categories and adopt dimensional and multiple-levels-of-analysis approaches to understanding trauma-related psychopathology. Additionally, we are interested in research that addresses multimorbidity in the context of trauma. We welcome presentations that speak to the comorbidity of psychological conditions after trauma, as well as to the interplay of mental and physical health after traumatic events.
"Psychological Well-being”

We invite researchers and practitioners from all fields of psychology research and practice to present and discuss recent innovations, trends, concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Applied Psychology, with a special focus on psychological well-being. This can include clinical and non-clinical psychological well-being and we encourage submissions that cross disciplines, for example psychological well-being in education and the workplace. We welcome submissions from a range of methodological approaches, including quantitative and qualitative work
Many of us were looking forward to the ICP in Prague in 2020. The covid pandemic forced us then to delay and switch to a completely virtual setting. The ICP2020+ congress was still a success thanks to the flexibility and ingenuity of the Organizing Committee and great support by the IUPsyS. Dedicated members of our Scientific Committee brought together almost 4000 active participants and first-class scholars. We were proud that even under the most difficult circumstances, the Congress was a success.
The same Prague organizing team now has the opportunity to finally welcome you all in person and facilitate the face-to-face meetings of top scholars, researchers, and curious students. A lot has been written about the beauty of Prague. Moreover, its location between Leipzig and Vienna is a reminder that here we touch the historical roots of psychology. The heritage will be meeting with the newest achievements.
