34th annual conference of the European Health Psychology Society

The European Health Psychology Society (EHPS) is a professional organisation formed to promote empirical and theoretical research in and applications of health psychology within Europe as well as the interchange of information related to health psychology with other associations throughout the world towards an international achievement of these aims.  

 

The Organising Committee looks forward to welcoming you in Bratislava and to do their best to enable the professional and scientific exchange, and meeting colleagues from different environments and countries, at the 34th EHPS annual conference in 2020!

8th World Congress on ADHD

 

May 6-9, 2021 - ONLINE EVENT, Czech Republic

 

The mission of the World Federation of ADHD is to support and promote worldwide clinical and scientific study projects, including training activities in the field of ADHD (Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder) and related disorders.

To also support the exchange of information between scientists, physicians, health experts, ADHD lay organisations, self-help groups, and the public; to collaborate with other related professional and lay organizations. The World Congresses strive to spread knowledge about ADHD by organizing international congresses, symposia, seminars and workshops on ADHD.

 

 Note:  In the light of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic the board of the WF ADHD decided that the 8th World Congress of ADHD 2021 will be a virtual event. Presenters and attendees can participate via a virtual platform.

Ageing as Future 2nd Conference: Conceptions, Contexts, and Challenges of Long Lives

 

May 12-14, 2021 - Nuremberg, Germany

 

The Ageing as Future 2nd Conference has now been moved from July 2020 to May 12th to 14th, 2021. As of yet there are no further program changes. 

 

The second conference of the international Ageing as Future project addresses issues in the realms of longevity, age discrimination, narrations of old age, norms of aging, time management, and preparing for end of life on the societal level of changing contexts, as well as on individual levels of cognitions, affect, and behaviours.  

 

The conference focuses on the different ways in which contexts matter for ageing individuals, for their conceptions of time and for their future-related constructions of a ‘good’ or, for that matter, ‘satisfying’ life in old age.

Big Data in Psychology/Research Synthesis Conference - Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID)

 

May 18-21, 2021 - ONLINE CONFERENCE, Germany

 

In 2021, the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID) will present its third Twin Conference that integrates two essential fields of rising relevance: Big Data and

Research Synthesis.

The conference is devoted to research addressing methods and applications of research syntheses (including systematic reviews and meta-analyses), as well as Big Data analyses (including large data sets, intensive longitudinal data, and machine learning) in psychology and related fields.

7th International Conference on Traffic and Transport Psychology (ICTTP)

 

August 24-26, 2021 - Gothenburg, Sweden

 

Due to the current situation caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) we would like to announce that the International conference on traffic and transport psychology (ICTTP) planned for 2020 will be postponed to August 24-26, 2021

 

The theme of the conference is Taking the Vision Zero Initiative into a New Era.  

Keynote speakers of the conference are Professor Emeritus Icek Ajzen and Dr Judy Fleiter.

 

There will also be a panel discussion on automated vehicles. Professor Natasha Merat will focus on the new role for drivers and Professor Graham Parkhurst on whether automated vehicles will reduce the negative social and environmental consequences of road transport.

 

All presentations (oral and posters) accepted for 2020 will automatically be accepted for 2021 without any further review. In addition, the submission portal will be re-opened for new abstracts between August 2020 and January 2021.

4th International Conference on Movement: Brain, Body, Cognition 

 

September 3-4, 2021 - Paris, France

 

The aim of the conference is to share knowledge on the relation of human movement to cognitive function and to establish dialogue between professionals from different disciplines.

 

The focus this year, among other things, will be on the Brain-Gut connection and Movement, Development and Aging, the Neuropsychology of cognitive-motor interaction (evaluation and treatment), Physical Education as a tool for cognitive improvement, Gender issues in Movement and Cognition and other focus areas.

 

As usual, the general conference topic areas will also include application to rehabilitation and therapeutics, sport, motor learning, brain-behavior relationships, traumatic brain injury, gait and cognition, and dance.
